On Tuesday night, Huddersfield host Liverpool at the John Smiths Stadium, in a game that could be crucial at both ends of the Premier League table.

Huddersfield have slipped down the top-flight table to 14th place, just two points clear of the relegation. A run of six league games without a win has majorly contributed to the Terriers position in the table.

In fact, David Wagner’s side have suffered three consecutive defeats in the top-flight, including losing 2-0 at relegation rivals Stoke City last time out in the league.

The home side have struggled for goals of late in the Premier League, scoring just once in their last four league games. At the other end of the pitch, Town have conceded at least two goals in their last three league outings.

Wagner’s team have struggled for home wins of late in the league, failing to win in their last four games at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Liverpool heads into this clash on the back of a 3-2 home defeat against West Brom in the FA Cup fourth round. The loss followed on from a 1-0 defeat at struggling Swansea in their last top-flight outing.

Despite the defeat in South Wales in their last league outing, the Reds are still fourth place in the top-flight table. However, Jurgen Klopp’s side are now just two points clear of fifth-place Tottenham.

The Merseysiders have been prolific in the top-flight of late, scoring two or more goals in six of their last seven league outings, a run which ended at Swansea.

The defeat at the Liberty Stadium also ended a six-game unbeaten run away from home in the Premier League. In keeping with their overall recent performances, the Reds have scored two or more goals in six of their last seven games on their travels in the league.

Forebet predicts that Liverpool will get back to winning ways with an emphatic victory in Yorkshire.
