The Champions League is back with the kings of Europe welcoming Copenhagen to the Etihad and Forebet is here to group together the analysis, data, mathematics and probability of another Manchester City win in our football predictions.
City lead this two-legged tie 3-1 after another convincing win over in Denmark. Kevin De Bruyne gave City an early lead that day before Magnus Mattsson brought the tie to 1-1.
However, a fantastic Bernardo Silva finish early on in the second half was then matched by another wonderful goal from Phil Foden, and the champions now have a comfortable two-goal cushion.

— Manchester City (@ManCity) March 5, 2024This run amongst other wins also extended Pep Guardiola’s men towards the 20-unbeaten run mark in all competitions, as a run in Europe, the Premier League and the FA Cup puts his side on 19 right now after another Manchester derby win.
Guardiola did fall behind to a stunning Marcus Rashford finish that day, but a finish from Foden in the second half put City right back in the game.
The local legend soon doubled his tally before Erling Haaland ended his three-game league goal drought with a finish towards the end of the match.
Although a league title triumph is still well on the cards for the champions of England, City are behind Liverpool in the table by a point still having lost three times, drawing one less than the Reds and both winning 19 times.
In fact, with a 6-2 in the FA Cup over Luton Town this time last week, there's very little stopping City from winning back-to-back trebles.
The data and mathematics for City on the defensive side is not as great as last season, however.
Clean sheets are not coming in as regularly as they normally do, and Copenhagen also managed to get a goal in the first leg. The Danish side have also netted four in a home game against United in the group stages.
Despite doing well in Europe, Copenhagen are in third behind Brondby and Midtjylland in the race for another Superliga title.
The Danish giants actually lost away to the league leaders Midtjylland last Friday after beating Silkeborg and Nordsjaelland in previous games towards the end of February.
Although the probability of a victory is unlikely for Copenhagen, they will still be taking confidence from a win over United, Galatasaray and a draw away to Bayern Munich in the group stages of the Champions League.
